NIRS is a COTS based solutions for Land Ownership and Land Use Management. It includes a national web based system to track all required information and generate required documentation. It replaces the three current Realty legacy systems. It also includes a Workflow Management System (WorkFlowGen), a Documentation Management System (Laserfiche) and a Geomatic Information System (GIS) (ArcGIS).
NIRS is integrated with Treasury Board's Directory of Federal Real Property (DFRP) system and will be integrated with Park's financial system (SAP)
National, Base and Unit Materiel Management Information System
Client Name: Director Materiel Management and Distribution, Department of National Defence, Ottawa, Ontario.
Undertaking: The Director Materiel Management and Distribution had a requirement to design, develop, test, deploy and support a System to increase operation efficiencies and provide management with the required information while meeting all directives and policies requirements.
Homeless Individuals and Families Information System
Client Name: Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC), the National Secretariat on Homelessness (NSH)
Undertaking: InnoVision was contracted to design, develop, test, train, deploy and support a bilingual homelessness data collection and management system known as Homeless Individuals and
Families Information System (HIFIS). The system was designed for use by shelters helping homeless individuals and assists in their day-to-day operations.
The Electronic Collection of Air Transportation Statistics in Canada
Client Name: Transport Canada, Air Transportation Statistics in Canada
Undertaking: To develop and implement a central database of aviation statistics at Transport Canada where the data is extracted from the computer systems of stakeholders. The flow of information between these systems and the central database will be completely electronic and automatic and the process must not impose a financial or additional resource burden on the stakeholders.
